Three ways to train.
Each format serves a different stage of development. Choose what matches where you are now.
Familiarisation
Know the aircraft before you fly it.
Your first time in the Boeing 737 flight deck. This format is designed for pilots who have not yet operated the type — or who want a structured reintroduction after time away.
Session length: 2–3 hours
Who it's for
Cadets preparing for type-rating, pilots transitioning from other types, pilots returning after extended absence.
Session objectives
- 01 Flight deck layout and panel orientation
- 02 FMC basic operation and route entry
- 03 Normal checklist flows (preflight through shutdown)
- 04 Autopilot modes and MCP operation
- 05 Engine start and taxi procedures
Procedural practice
Repetition builds reliability.
Rehearse standard operating procedures until they become automatic. This is the format most working pilots use — a space to smooth out flows, correct habits, and build speed without the scrutiny of a check.
Session length: 3–4 hours
Who it's for
Current 737 pilots maintaining proficiency, pilots preparing for recurrent checks, first officers building command-readiness.
Session objectives
- 01 Normal departure and arrival procedures
- 02 SID/STAR flying with FMC and raw data
- 03 ILS, VOR, and RNAV approach procedures
- 04 Go-around and missed approach execution
- 05 CRM callouts and crosscheck discipline
Scenario-based sessions
Train for the moments that matter.
Realistic, unscripted scenarios that test decision-making under pressure. Engine failures, weather diversions, system malfunctions — presented in context, not as isolated drills.
Session length: 4 hours
Who it's for
Experienced pilots stress-testing their decision-making, crews preparing for line checks, flight school instructors building scenario libraries.
Session objectives
- 01 Single-engine operations (takeoff and approach)
- 02 Weather-related decision-making and diversions
- 03 Hydraulic, electrical, and pressurisation failures
- 04 TCAS and GPWS response procedures
- 05 Multi-failure management and task prioritisation
